LIFE CAN BE REALLY GOOD!

Here's what we think:

Mesopotamia, in West Asia between the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers, is the earliest known civilization in the history of the world. Most Western and Middle Eastern scholars cite ancient Mesopotamia as "The Cradle of Civilization." It was made up of parts of Iraq, parts of northeastern Syria, southeastern Turkey, and southwestern Iran.
Nothing in Life is certain. We question everything!  

     Not even scientific research, today, in 2012, is certain about anything. Our beloved researchers, scientists, medical professionals, archeologists, historians... investigate but their findings are never certain. Scientists study what they find and then they guess. They make educated guesses about what they find - they hypothesize.

Approximately 6,000 - 7,000 B.C.E....

In the beginnings of Sumer, an ancient country of southern Mesopotamia in the south of present-day Iraq, the concept that means "watching the watchers" was already in use... the Sumerians possessed an extensive irrigation system; they invented writing and the wheel, they started agriculture....

In 1st century Rome...

The "watching" concept was also in use... the Romans had an extensive sewer system.... Early man and woman were just as intelligent and resourceful as we are today, they just didn't have our technology, yet. These ancient peoples assigned "a guardian class" of individuals to protect their cities. The concern, though, was who would guard the guardians from wrongdoings? Or, who would protect the people from the protectors? Or, who will "watch the watchers!?"

In 2011 C.E....
We will! You will! That's who!
    
We, the people... critique the rich, famous, and the powerful... and the people who "watch" them! This does not necessarily mean that our flashlight, our spotlight, is only on the wealthy and the famous. It can mean the balance of power between adults and children, for example, or animals versus people. Simply put, we expose the wrongdoings of the powerful! Yeah, we know, the media is supposed to be exposing all wrongdoing but we are well aware that they do not - they pick & choose! We unveil what the media doesn't!

     We support the underdog of the world - the victim of social and political injustice - those nobody wants. At our cafe on the Mediterranean and Adriatic Seas everyone is welcome!

     Start talking!

     If you're a victim of injustice, start somewhere. Make an appointment with a professional, a medical, psychological, or legal professional. There's free help out there. Talk! Talk is the Ultimate Healer! Tell the world in the "comment" section of this blogcast. Broadcast it! Don't suffer in silence! Your comments are read all over the world! And - you could help someone else at the same time! Come on!
   
     We all know how small people have a need to keep their neighbor beneath them; it makes them feel superior - in their own minds. Inadequate people need to keep others beneath them. Maladroits and inepts and inadequates need to step on the backs of the necks of others!

     Instead of working on building themselves up from within which is where the healthy self-image { happiness } starts, inadequates rather tear YOU down! For some people it's just easier to tear you down than build themselves up: we don't quite understand that. YET! We hypothesize that deficients just don't know how? Yes! We think that's it! Small people don't know how to be huge!

     You can see the impetus, the inspiration, for this blogcast by reading our 1st entry, dated April 4, 2009, entitled, "The Audacity of Celebrity Professionals!" The focus of our commentary is not necessarily on the "players" in the entry; but, it's the disrespect and the abuse by powerful people that we find objectionable. WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE!? We were so perplexed that we couldn't sit idly by and allow the rich and famous { hence, powerful} to wax { with power } and the underdog { the average citizen } to wane { in power} - wax & wane - as in the phases of the moon. We want equality across the board! A little respect, please! Uh, a whole lotta' respect, please!!!

     We know our readers are busy, hence, we profusely thank you for allowing us to plant some seeds in your mental & emotional gardens every now and then that you can rehash as you journey... to work, for example. Be prepared! As we all know, Life has a way of pouncing on us when we least expect it!

     Some of the terminology in our commentaries & opinions may seem harsh - even offensive - but "they" have left us no choice! When we've asked for respect supercivilly, "they" have not listened - you know who you are - you've forced us to resort to such frankness.

     We don't lump our loyal readers into the powerful & disgusting group of disrespecters & disregarders & squelchers of the plight and feelings of our beloved minorities & underdogs - throwaways - you know, those that society has haughtily dismissed, marginalized, and dehumanized! When we say minorities, we don't, necessarily, mean racial minorities - they know how to take care of the racial aspect. We're talkin' other minorities that you don't know about - those who suffer, alone, in silence!

     Because WORDS are so POWERFUL, our commentaries are often expanded, updated, edited, and chiseled to perfection! Especially we continue to edit in the days after we publish an entry; hence, we humbly request that you, please, come back and take our redacted seeds of thought with you! Help us repair OUR world! Together, we can do it! You'll see!!! All of us are POWERFUL! Today with social media we're all publishers - not just the chosen few!
