Book Publishing vs Incitement/Catalysis

QUESTION:  Isn't referring to our beloved President Barack Obama on the first page of one of Ann's Coulter's books as "B. Hussein Obama" a cheap legerdemain/trick?  Is she attempting to incite some kind of insurrection!?  To play such games as this is potentially quite dangerous!  (Come on, is that the best she can do to get published?  The publisher, also, leaves something to be desired.)  The name, Hussein, is of such great importance to them that it is prominently displayed on the first page; it's supposed to be what draws the peruser in!  Ooooh!  Like Elaine Benes chortles, with her eyebrows afloat, "That's the best you can do!  That's all you got!" on "Seinfeld," in response to her potential boyfriend's attempt to get back at her by telling her that she has a big head.  Why didn't Ann mention the admirable Jewish definition of Barack?  Now really, that wouldn't sell well to her particular brand of cronies; it just wouldn't sell books.  They want incitement!!!

Children on the playground bully/make fun of/humiliate other children because of their names, nationalities, races, religious affiliations, eyeglasses, and the like; and, judging by the above paragraph, some of us, adults, never quite make it to maturity.

I find President Obama's complete history fascinating!  The Kenya Connection and all... including the name Hussein!  I find it utterly exciting, and befitting, that our President's destiny was to be named Hussein at the exact moment in the history of our nation when the utterance of that name hits us right between the eyes sending chills down our spines - which is precisely what Ms. Coulter was/is counting on.  (I suppose I could imagine someone skimming the first page of the book and seeing "B. Hussein Obama" and saying, "Oh-oh!  I better buy this book!!!"  Not!)  It seems like a petty, immature, way to try and sell books!  This act is surely indicative of littleness of mind, it's contemptible and meanspirited!

Or, is she trying to get our President hurt!?  In her aberrant mind, what type of reaction does Ann hope to obtain from readers when they read the name, Hussein?  "Ooooooo!  Aaaaahhh!  See, he is a terrorist!"  Didn't we already go over all of this during the Presidential campaign?  It's old news already, and it is an insult to the nation of Islam!  If I were Ann, I would fear for my own safety.  Not because of me, but because of the people that she is offending!  Her flagrant positioning of the name, Hussein, illustrates to me that she doesn't have much fuel/fodder for a book; although, of course, she can always write about unwed mothers, her favorite topic!  If time wasn't so scarce, I would get the book - notice I didn't say buy - just to see what she could possibly have to say.  Like I said, an author usually puts the best foot forward on the front page, just like a movie producer puts the best of the movie in the television ad or the trailer in the movie theater.

If something happens to our President, what is Ann Coulter going to say, then?  "Oops!  SO sorry!"

I agree on your article. Seems like a very cheap trick indeed to sell stuff. I wonder what's wrong with people - they should be glad to have a president like Obama, especially after the long and dark Bush years.
