"Mr. Know It All" Blasts President Obama With the Foulest of Names

I was still vacationing in the Midwest on Friday, May 1, 2009, when I fortuitously caught some fragments of radio talk-show host, Mike Trivisonno's (derisively nicknamed Mr. Know It all) rant and rave about President Obama running around apologizing to other countries for our men and women in uniform, which in an untrue, absurd, assertion to make.  Who would believe that?  The loud foul-mouthed talk-show host looking for ratings called the President every derogatory name in the book!  (Only a cheap, low-grade, low-class, individual would do that to anyone.)  I was astonished!  Isn't the election campaign over?  Yet the snide namecalling continues.  Via his radio program, Trivisonno has goaded vulnerable veterans into believing that President Obama is apologizing for them.  He spewed caviling vitriol that could get our President killed.  It's not too far-fetched for a soldier with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), or some other form of mental illness contracted from the war, to take his, or her, vengeance out on a betraying President.  What's Trivisonno going to say then?  "Ooops!"

I have always said that our President has a unique way of governing.  He manages our country with the wisdom of a preacher and a therapist.  He is alot like me.  Dare I say?  Most of my life, until recently, I have "lowered myself" in order to fit in, to have relationships with people.  It carried me through until I found my own ilk.  Or, I wouldn't have had ANY so-called "friends," acquaintances, or family.  The human being is very fragile; I didn't realize it consciously, then, but I always (KNEW) KNOW what an individual NEEDS.  This second sight, or perceptivity, is not always, if ever, comfortable.

Years ago, I heard M. Scott Peck (The M is for Morgan.) speak and related immediately when he said that he "adjusts himself" to various types of people and situations.  (That's the only thing I remember about his whole speech, and I'm certain it was very interesting.)  He verbalized this behavior better than I did but the two phrases mean the same thing; for instance, he wouldn't talk to a high school student in PhD or medical school jargon.  He wouldn't talk to a gang member in PhD palaver.  Dr. Peck, an American psychiatrist and author of the popular book, "The Road Less Traveled," received his bachelor's degree magna cum laude from Harvard University in Cambridge, Massachusetts, did premedical studies at Columbia University in New York City, and received his medical degree from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.  (So I'm in good company.  Great minds think alike!)

Here's how I see President Obama's so-called apologizing to other countries.  I see him as "adjusting himself" to get their guard down and then zeroing in for the kill - implementing some real, significant, healthy, change.  He's starting new relationships, he wants the slate clean of any distractions from previous administrations.  (When you begin a strained relationship anew, don't you apologize for any slights or hurt feelings first?)  He allows leaders to talk.  People just want to be heard, typically.  People just want to know that you really HEAR them.  Then, half the battle is won, at least.  It's called active listening!

We all know, and the President knows, that America is better than all non-democratic (and democratic) countries because non-democratic countries are, typically, primitive, backward, underdeveloped, they are not as contemporary as America.  We know we're a GREAT country, hence, we are able to "lower ourselves," "adjust ourselves."  Amongst our many, many, other accomplishments and virtues, we sent a man to the moon.  Our government doesn't spy on its people.  We don't kill our homosexuals.  Women's bodies are not seen as something to be covered from head to toe.  Jealous and possessive men of other cultures cannot tolerate men looking at anything other than the eyes of their women, not because they revere them... they'll kill their wives in a minute and be lucky if they do five months in prison for the crime.  If it's even a crime?

Trivisonno should be ashamed of himself for exploiting our veterans for the sake of ratings.  Someone SHOULD apologize to the families of the service men and women who were in Iraq fighting, and dying, in President Bush's unjust and unnecessary war; Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction.  In essence, our previous administration is saying, "Ooops."  It's too bad that Trivisonno is not more intelligent, intuitive, and insightful since he has that sounding board at the radio station.  He brags about not having finished high school.  And, it shows!

Furthermore, Trivisonno has declared that the First Lady, Michelle Obama, is ugly!  Now, that says everything about Trivisonno's character, or lack thereof, and maturity, or lack there of.  What kind of a low-class, low-grade, (of a lower class of people) human being would call another human being ugly?  Who would make fun of - ridicule - a human being's features?  The same God that created him, created her.  At the risk of emulating the ignoble Trivisonno: he's no prized package!

Hey people!  And veterans!  Do you want to get things done?  Do you want to see change?  Do you want an end to war?  Do you want us to never again have to send our young men and women to war?  (Don't listen to the high school dropout!)

Well, leave the man (the President) alone!  And let him do his job!

[I ask myself who would I rather emulate: a Harvard University, Columbia University, and Case Western Reserve University graduate, renowned psychiatrist, author, and much more, (Is there anyone out there who doesn't know that a psychiatrist is an actual medical doctor?  That's why they're allowed to prescribe medications.) and the President of the United States or a cheap high school dropout who is looking to secure his job as a radio talk-show host in an economy that has just eliminated the jobs of a couple of his prized co-workers?]
