Miss California: Her Devil and Her God!

The manner in which the conservative, religious, Right-to-Lifers, TWIST THEIR RELIGION TO SUIT THEMSELVES in any particular argument at any given time really vexes me to the point of regurgitation!  I, myself, do not distort my religion to suit me, a religion that I have been unduly steeped in during my youth.  (I've noticed that religion is taught differently today.)  Instead, I allow the powerful remnants of my religion to torture me, and stress me out, as I suppose religions of the past were supposed to do; today I view myself as more spiritual than religious because I believe that my religion (which is made up of humans) has betrayed me too often, and too deeply, throughout the years.  It's been like I'm following it and others are not - others are twisting it to suit themselves!

I also really hate when religious zealots invoke the devil!  I haven't heard of the devil for quite some time until just the other day when Miss California, Carrie Prejean, reminded me of him, or her, or it!  As soon as I forget about Satan, some religious zealot, some religious nut (as Judge Judy would say) reminds me of him, or her, or it, again!  I would like to leave that childish horse hockey back in grade school where I learned it.  Dwelling on the concept of the devil is not my idea of constructive or positive thinking!  It's a depressant, a downer, which robs me of my serenity!  (The zealots just reach for the devil when it's convenient.)

"Should gays be allowed to marry?"  Miss California said when asked the question by Perez Hilton that "the devil was testing me and God was telling me to answer in God's way," or something to that effect.  Grow up, already, with the devil analogy, please!

(1)  "Should I (Carrie) pose for semi-nude pictures?"  Was the devil, again, testing Miss California when she posed in her just-about-nude pictures for all men, boys, and girls, to leer at?  Was she doing God's work?  Religious right, is that how your God, and Carrie Prejean's God, wants your girls, and young women, which He created in His own image and likeness to be portrayed?  Like Playboy bunnies?  Donald Trump and Miss California described her semi-nude pictures as modeling photos.  Isn't that speeecial!? (per Saturday Night Live parody)  Is that their definition of "modeling?"  A star covering her nipple?...

(2)  "Should I (Carrie) lie on my application about ever having any unsavory pictures taken of me?"  Was the devil, again, testing Miss California when she lied about semi-nude photos of her that might be floating around in ubiquity?  She had to have been in the company of AT LEAST ONE human being, the photographer, when the nude picture, or pictures, of her breast, or breasts, was/were taken.  Miss California didn't know that a risque picture, or pictures, of her had been taken?  Was the photographer hiding in another room when he surreptitiously took the picture?

I'm very confused!  The zealots really know how to confuse up a bunch of religious tenets in an attempt to come out smelling like roses.  Don't they?  Ooooh!  I forgot!  The wind blew her blouse open!Thaaat's how her naked breast, or breasts, became exposed!  Got it!  And the photographer just happened to be there at that moment in time when the gust of wind blew?

Donald Trump keeps, insultingly, iterating that "We're in the 21st century!"  Now let's see.  What does that mean?  That's his excuse for his perverse Miss California's nudity and deceit!?  Does he mean that religion and the Ten Commandments and lechery change with the times?  Let me rephrase that.  Deceit and public nudity in the 21st century are acceptable by Ms. Prejean's God?  Does the Donald mean that in 2009 it's approbatory or recommendatory for young women who are role models for our girls, and other young women,(a) to pose nearly-nude (b) and then be deceitful about it?  Is he saying that it's benign and advantageous for our boys, and young men, and old geezers to gawk at nearly-nude young women and girls?  After all, guess what?  Tah-dah!  It's the 21st century!

I honestly don't know how some, or most, conservative, religious, Right-to-Lifers keep their stories straight?  I am completely confused by this mish-mash that I just wrote!  It's quite a feat to make a bunch of lies sound feasible!  We all know it's alot of work to tell one lie on top of another, on top of another, on top of another....  One must be quite dexterous and impudent to indulge in deceit yet, ultimately, the truth wins out, anyway, as we have seen!

Everybody who thinks that Donald Trump is getting a little lax in his judgment, raise your hands!

Anybody who thinks Donald Trump should step down if he's getting to be such an old lecher, raise your hands!

              It's not her view on gays and marriage
              or any other subject that we object to;
              it's the hypocrisy and the constant
              twisting of religious tenets that we
              object to!

    I honestly could not care less about the photos she posed for. People in general are just too uptight about the naked body and sex... And, I think she was very respectful in the way she stated her opinion on Gay Marriage. This is the country of Free Speech (of course, it really isn't that)! My problem with her is simply the hypocracy of her action and statement combined. You're either a Christian and you shouldn't be knowningly (and yes, it is knowingly when you pose for near-naked photos) inspiring lust (a sin). Or you're not a Christian, and you need to think of a better reason for opposing Gay Marriage! People are Christian when it suits them and New-Age at other times.

    I used to think being a Christian was a good thing. If a person needed to fear an all-powerful being to behave, more power to them... unfortunately, it's hurting other people these days and it's ruining the poor Republican Party.
